eliminate seat alignment issues, prevent dangerous rearward slide,
and deliver 25–35 years of smooth, secure operation. Available with
either Swivel or Non-Swivel middle seat configuration at the same price.
Includes the original FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (SA01111NY-D),
Authorization Letter, IM00349 Installation Manual, and all required
hardware for a complete three-seat installation.
The EZ Glide™ 3-Seat Kit is the most complete seat anchor replacement
system available for the Aerostar — covering the pilot, copilot, and
middle passenger seats. The kit includes 12 EZ Glide™ anchor assemblies
(4 anchors per seat) along with all required hardware for a complete
three-seat installation.
The middle seat is available in two configurations at the same price:
• Standard (non-swivel) — fixed forward-facing position
• Swivel — allows rotation for cabin access
All anchors are manufactured from hardened alloy steel with UHMWPE
(ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) bearings — the same material
used in joint replacement surgery for its exceptional wear resistance
and Teflon-like friction characteristics. Estimated useful life: 25–35
years.
EZ Glide anchors are captive in the seat tracks, eliminating the risk
of seats sliding back and falling out of the tracks during takeoff roll
— a known safety concern with the original Aerostar pin design.
Installation is easy and can be performed in 2–3 hours. The complete
IM00349 Installation Manual ships with every kit, providing step-by-step
instructions and torque specifications. After installation, future seat
removal takes about 5 minutes — and seats remain perfectly adjusted,
eliminating the need for annual seat adjustments at every inspection.
Installation must be signed off in the aircraft logbook in accordance
with FAA regulations.
Approved for installation under FAA Supplemental Type Certificate
SA01111NY-D on the Aerostar PA-60-600, 601, 601P, 602P, and 700P.
